Black Lights Shining in the Darkness was produced with the efforts of leaders and ministers from around the city of Houston pulling together to produce the amazing youth stage play production"Black Lights Shining in the Darkness" at the Cullen Theater in the Wortham Center downtown.  It was an AMAZING event. 

The powerful, practical stage play is not like a typical stage play. Many have likened it to the traveling "HAMILTON" production! This is a production that every teen should see, it is life changing. The Black Lights production is also designed to raise awareness to the need for our goal, the Outreach Teen Center as well as to empower this generation to walk brave, and strong with a stable mental health during these perilous. 

After years of hatred builds an enormous amount of tension between Darryl and his Step-dad, Darryl makes a decision that changes his world. What he thought would be his way out, turns into a tragedy that he will have to live with forever. Wrapped in feelings of guilt and shame Darryl discovers that the only way out of the darkness, is for him to become the LIGHT.
